Back in Paris....Ahhhhhhhh!

...and these are some of my favourite things....

A beautiful painted board above a doorway near Les Halles, in the 'restaurant district' of Paris...Colonialism resplendent in 19th Century building decoration!

This combination of perfectly sign-written gold text on glass with the frosty scratched whitewash on the interior, I find very aesthetically pleasing...especially as the text depicts two of my favourite things: tea and antiques!
This shop front window is on rue de l'Hotel de ville, 75004 Paris.

...and of course an ornamental street sign tops it all off...treasures never cease to crop up and delight...

Wonderful signs - all in your fave colours too! I guess the Metro is as hot, noisy and bustling as ever. Ahhh, nostalgia!!

Will you be visiting Zurich? We could meet for TEA! I felted a thrift shop sweater today, in preparation for making-up the tea cosy pattern you sent me. Was thinking of you and now you're practically in the neighborhood!
